Bowling Green - Patricia Lynne Compton (Stewart), 78 of Bowling Green, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019. She was a Lexington, Kentucky native and the daughter of the late William Stewart, and Bernice McGlosson Stewart. She is also preceded in death by her late husband; Bill Compton. Patricia was a member of Glendale Baptist Church. She was a retired nurse from the Lord Corporation. She is survived by her son William Perry Compton III, wife Rebecca, Berthoud, CO., a daughter Elizabeth Kennedy, husband John, Mt. Juliet, TN, grandchildren; Jason Wallace, Brittany New, Stephen Wallace, Felicia Korpi, and Katie Baldwin. Great grandchildren; William Wallace, Nora Wallace, Evan Wallace, Sophia Wallace, Jayden Wallace, Chase Wallace, Brooklynn Baldwin, Arthur New, Waylon Wallace and KimberlyAnne Wallace. Sister; Barbara Harkey, Bowling Green, KY, brother and sister in law; Charles and Kay Compton, Lexington, KY, nieces; Tonya Leathers, Ginger Underwood and nephew; Patrick Compton. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019 at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bowling Green Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to Glendale Baptist Church, 1807 Cave Mill Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42104.
