BROWNSVILLE — Robert E. Davis, 76, of Pine Grove, died March 28, 2011, in Bowling Green.

The Edmonson County native was a carpenter and a member of Pine Grove United Baptist Church. He was a son of the late John W. Davis and Mary Elizabeth Hawks Davis. He was preceded in death by twin children, Catherine Gail and Bobby Dale Davis; three brothers, Carlos, Junior and Darrell Eugene Davis; and a sister, Christine Lindsey.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pine Grove United Baptist Church, with burial in Wingfield Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville chapel, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Margie M. Cole Davis; two daughters, Regina K. Meredith and her husband, Larry, and Jody Jaggers and her husband, Tommy, all of Pine Grove; three brothers, Frank Davis and his wife, Vanda, and David Davis and his wife, Alma, all of Pine Grove, and Joe Davis and his wife, Ann, of Chalybeate; four grandchildren, Brandy Meredith, Danielle Jaggers, Drake Jaggers and Meredith Jaggers; and a great-granddaughter, Kaylee Russell.
