Rose E. (Kimbro) Compton

Rose E. (Kimbro) Compton, 99, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Summerfield Health & Rehab Center.

Rose was born in Bowling Green, Ky., to Warner & Maude (Bunch) Kimbro.

She was homemaker and a member of Beechmont Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; her husband of 37 years: Bennie Compton and a Son: Rev. Billy C. Compton.

Survivors include her Daughter-In-Law: Ruth Ann Compton; 8 Grandchildren: Cathie Bracewell (Ralph), Steve Compton, Mark Compton (Tammy), Lori Williams (Charlie), Scott Compton (Anita), Lisa Addis (Sean), Todd Compton and Brad Compton (J.J.); a Brother: Tommy Kimbro and a Sister: Kaye Rosenthal (Herb).

Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bowling Green. Visitation will be Thursday 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
