Susan Lee Hazlewood

BOWLING GREEN – Susan Lee Hazlewood, age, 76, passed away Tuesday January 9, 2024 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. The Granite City, IL native was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Louis Young and Marie Hart Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Hazlewood, one son, Robert Alan Hazlewood, and one sister, Sharon Elkins.

Susan was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church, her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived her life, she loved her family, her kindness was a blessing to all that knew her. She was the owner of Canary Cottage Florist in Bowling Green for 17 years, she loved crafting, painting, flowers, and flamingos. Susan is survived by her children, Donald Ray Hazlewood II, Melissa Lee Stork (Race), and Pamela Marie Cline (Keith), one sister, Sandra Boroweic, grandchildren, Trevor Cline (Jessica), Haley Cline, Ripken Stork, Drake Hazlewood, Lyndon Hazlewood, and Scarlett Wisniewski, and three nephews.

Visitation will be Friday January 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Saturday January 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM followed by burial in the Bowling Green Gardens.
