Warren L. Finnegan, 78, of Bowling Green died at 4:33 p.m. Feb. 8, 2000, at Greenview Regional Hospital.The Chester, Ill., native was a decorated World War II Air Force veteran, having earned 11 Bronze Stars, a retired Chrysler Corp. and Danaher Corp. controller, a Euchrist lay minister and a member of Knights of Columbus. He was a son of the late Stephen Thomas Finnegan and Natala Rose Bragee Finnegan.Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where he was a member, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to American Heart Association.Survivors include his wife, Regina Finnegan; three daughters, Gail Kentfield of Clarkston, Mich., Dr. Leslie Breiwa of Bowling Green and Karen Sydnor of Chillicothe, Ohio; two sons, Stephen Finnegan of Charlotte, N.C., and Kevin Finnegan of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister, Alta Jobin of St. Louis; a brother, Edmund Bud Finnegan of Wentzfield, Mo.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
