Will Bowling Green become the Mayberry of the commonwealth? Will BG be known as the place with the comical town drunk?

When Otis Campbell got drunk, he turned himself in to the sheriff. Our town drunk turns himself into the Commissioner-Man and does the city's business. Could he make sound decisions?

This is his second time around, same problem. No signs of changed behavior. Mayberry deputy Barney Fife's solution: Nip it, nip it in the bud! So, how does Bowling Green nip it? At the ballot box!

Commissioner-Man Brian Nash has disappointed those who voted for him. His actions should not stain you. He violated the law, not you. His career in politics is over, but, Nash, you are not. Seek help and know this: There is still hope.

Enough Already

The voters should also not forget Sheriff Hightower's part in this fiasco. Shame on him. He also answers to the voters at the ballot box. We need law enforcement, not good ol' boy politics!

This is too funny but sad at the same time, I also thought Mr. Nash reminded me of Otis the other day.
