AUBURN Robert L. Thompson, 91, of Auburn died at 6:15 p.m. Feb. 6, 2003, at an Auburn nursing home.The Logan County native was a retired farmer and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Luther Thompson and Lillie Rob Richey Thompson and the husband of the late Iva Canler Thompson.Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Young Funeral Home with burial home in Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today and 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie Fulcher and Patricia Epley, both of Auburn, Mildred Pillow of Russellville, and Charlotte Roach of South Carolina; four sons, Bobby Atchley, James Thompson, Charlie Thompson and Ernest Thompson, all of Auburn; three brothers, Woodrow Thompson of Orlinda, Tenn., Millard Thompson of Indiana and Dillard Thompson of Auburn; three sisters, Pearl Arnold and Christine Boyd, both of Auburn, and Jessie Kline of Indiana; 30 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
