* Flood Advisory for
the Barren River at Bowling Green.
* From this morning until further notice.
* At 8:45 AM CST Sunday the stage was 16.6 feet.
* Action stage is 26.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 27.1 feet early Tuesday morning.
It will fall to 13.6 feet and then begin rising early Thursday
afternoon then rise again.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Parks begin to flood. Most of Thomas
Landing and Weldon Peete Park flood.

* At 846 PM CST /946 PM EST/, Doppler radar and automated rain
gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
already occurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of
rain have fallen over the past several hours.

* Significant areal flooding will continue in some areas overnight.
Low water crossings or other flood-prone locations may remain
flooded and impassable.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Glasgow, Campbellsville, Lebanon, Hodgenville, Greensburg,
Munfordville, Brownsville, Three Springs, Monroe and Horse Cave.

Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.

interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

significant areal flooding will persist in some areas overnight.

Bowling Green, Glasgow, Scottsville, Franklin, Adairville,
Woodburn, Butlersville, Halfway, Allen Springs and Trammel.

Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
