In April 2015, after the Logan County Humane Society shelter was found to be overcrowded and in poor shape with a rodent infestation, animals standing in their own feces, big dogs in small kennels, dead animals, sickness and aggression, the director resigned and several board members were removed. The charge for change continues, using the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society as a resource and model.
