South Warren senior Sydney Cassady continued her ultra-successful partnership with fellow senior Natalie Noble on Wednesday.

The Spartans duo won their fourth consecutive Region 4 Girls’ Tennis Tournament doubles title with a convincing 6-2, 6-0 victory over Greenwood’s Christie Lin and Kate Young.

“Anything can happen, and we still came out with the mentality that we still need to keep the pressure on and don’t let up at all,” Cassady said.

Cassady and Noble combined for a 4-0 record in the regional tournament to improve their season mark to 20-2 as they aim to earn a seeding for the first time in the upcoming KHSAA Tennis State Tournament at the University of Kentucky’s Boone Tennis Center in Lexington.
