Braxton Meguiar

Braxton Meguiar is carrying a strong junior season into the summer. The rising senior for Logan County had two hits, a stolen base and drove in one run during the Top Prospect Games at Nick Denes Field on June 13, an event put on by Prep Baseball Report.

Meguiar was also selected to the Kentucky East-West All-Star roster and will play in Saturday’s Region 3 vs. 4 sophomore and junior all-star game at Bowling Green Ballpark.

“Lots going on this summer,” Meguiar said. “Seeing lots of good arms and just getting better for next season.”

Meguiar led Logan County last year with a .484 batting average, a school-record 60 hits, 46 RBIs and seven home runs. His streak of 34 games with a hit dating back to 2018 nearly matched a state record.
