Bowling Green Police are on the scene of the 500 block of Magnolia Street after shots were fired.

According to Ronnie Ward, BGPD’s public information officer, police are trying to determine who, if anyone, was shot.

A volley of shots rang out at around 9:30 Thursday evening, with users on the social media platform X reporting they heard the gunfire across multiple neighborhoods, from Kenton Street to Greenlawn Avenue to Cemetery Road.

Scanner traffic indicated that one gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital after a caller said two people with guns were trying to kill her brother.

Police have not yet confirmed a suspect.
